É usual a estante registar o aparecimento de novos albums e novas bandas com agrado. Pois, hoje infelizmente é com pesar que referimos que é o momento de prestar, também aqui na estante, uma homenagem ao grande ícone dos cantautores americanos contemporaneos - Jason Molina.
Julgo não dizer nenhuma inconfidência ao revelar que vários membros da estante acompanham o trabalho de Jason Molina desde há mais de 15 anos. Percorremos sempre no label "secretly canadian" pelos vários projectos - Songs:Ohia, Magnolia Electric Co, Jason Molina e em colaborações várias.
Sabemos que há cerca de 4 anos que já não aparecia em palco por causa de uma doença, sabe-se agora, desviante de abuso alcoólico.
